Active learning - Final Post

1. The Big Picture
In active learning, in this school, teachers try to teach us how to efficiently self-regulate ourselves, and learn how to be able to work to the best of out abilities. Self-regulation is being able to control yourself, and do what you're supposed to do on your own accord. Incidentally, this is the part of PE that's important to me. Another part of PE is being self-regulated outside of class, like maintaining your fitness with activities, as well as healthier eating. If I put how I feel like I am doing in terms of these ideas, I would give myself a B-, at satisfactory.

2. Body and Health
During fitness, I often feel like quiting, however, after fitness, I feel really elated and happy with myself, especially when it was something I actually tried at. An example of these would be in many of our beep tests, pond runs, and thirty minute runs. When I do these activities, I feel like giving up often, but being with a partner that's fun to be around, like Kavita often helps me try my hardest. With other fitness activities, such as pyramids, however, I definitely don't try my best, I pretty much half-try and give up when it gets too difficult. I don't have a lot of physical activity outside of school, but I don't necessarily have none either.  I have small and laid back amounts of fitness often, I walk to and from school everyday, I also walk often to go places, as well as swim when I can.

3. Attitude and Effort
My attendance leave a lot to be desired, I am often late/absent. When I come to class, I often have my PE strip, but I sometimes forget my PE shoes at home. In PE I mostly have a positive attitude, and I'm alright with trying different things. My effort could have some more improvement, especially in non-fitness days. However, on fitness days I often put a good amount of effort in it. Like I said earlier, I push through with fitness activities like beep tests, pond runs, and 30 minute runs. But with other activites like the pyramid, I give up when it starts to become difficult. As a whole in class, I feel like I don't do enough. I do help set up equipment and help get teams organized instead of socializing in little groups.
